For the final essay I will be looking to explore the sometimes controversial music genre Hip-Hop.  I believe that music plays a big influence on our daily lives and could be considered a project space.  I will analyze the influences hip-hop has on our daily lives and how the type of music we listen to can lead people to get an opinion on us before they even meet us.  This is closely tied with space so I will be putting to major cities where hip-hop strived under the microscope.  I also want to provide the history of the genre such as events origin and compare it to modern day hip-hop.  Finally I want to focus on some of the major role models in hip-hop and what examples they played.
